Mr. Maneesh Sinha  MBBS, MS Orth, FRCS Edin. (Trauma & Orth)

Maneesh Sinha graduated in 1992, and completed his post-graduation with MS degree in Orthopaedics from the prestigious Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai, India. He had further higher surgical training in Orthopaedics in the South West Thames rotation in England and was awarded the fellowship of Royal Colleges of Surgeons in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2003. Subsequently he strengthened his training with sub-specialist training in the field of shoulder, elbow and hand surgery during fellowships and as senior registrar in Swindon and Oxford. Therefore he has benefited from several years of training and experience in orthopaedic surgery and specialist experience in upper limb surgery. He obtained the Certificate of Specialist Training in 2008.

Mr. Sinha has been in a substantive full-time consultant post at the Dudley Group of Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2008. He has an elective practice in upper limb surgery, and is also on the general trauma rota. He uses his vast experience as an Orthopaedic surgeon especially his expertise in upper limb surgery for the benefit of his patients, as well as in his role as a teacher and trainer. He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals and continues to take an active interest in research activities. He maintains and updates his knowledge and expertise regularly by attending and contributing to meetings and conferences and participates in departmental audit and quality improvement activities. He takes the lead for governance in the Orthopaedic department. His leadership skills have helped in developing several initiatives to improve and enhance patient care in Dudley Group of Hospitals.

Outside work, Maneesh has a keen interest in art and photography and enjoys travelling, playing cricket and relaxing with his family in his spare time. He is a member of the Medical Arts Society.
